SEDONA: Like something from a Hollywood script, people are flocking to Sedona in search of treasure. One can't help but look over their shoulder for the appearance of Nicolas Cage and Diane Kruger.
In the wee hours of a crisp April morning, a man in search of the pot at the end of the rainbow fell into a pine branch covered mine entrance. His tumble led to a labyrinth of sophisticated canals, leading to the discovery of a tablet known now as the Remington Rune Stone.
Treasure hunters believe the tablet contains a code that will lead them to the recovery of a buried prize worth millions of dollars. After several recent failed attempts to unearth the booty, a fresh team of defrocked anthropologists, lead by Warren P. Cramer (pronounced Kramer), has begun anew to decipher the tablet.
According to Cramer, the tablet reveals that the Keystone Illumination from Rhode Island's historical Newport Stone Tower points directly to Sedona, AZ. Cramer's theory is that Prince Henry St. Clair of Scotland, a Knights Templar, mapped a voyage to Naragansett Bay in 1398, building the Tower, and commissioning Remington to roam the New World. Befriended by Micmac, Cherokee and Apache clan members, Remington eventually stumbled into Sedona. Cramer deduced that St. Clair made his way to Scotland and then to Rhode Island with the Holy Grail in hand after fleeing Israel. Based partially on astrology, numerology, secret geometry, allegory and symbolism, Cramer concluded that St. Clair followed the Norse shipping lanes and made his way to America. The Knights Templar, who had managed a large economic infrastructure, creating innovative financial techniques that were an early form of Wall Street banking, were subsequently disbanded, arrested, tortured and exterminated by Pope Clement V and King Philip IV of France. Some believe they may have bet on failing derivatives. Many theorists postulate that in order to save the secrets of the Order, members scattered and reformed later as the Freemasons.
Included among the rumors of Knights Templar and Freemasons is that St. Clair left a map for the future navigators of Christopher Columbus to use to find their way to North America in 1492. Columbus may have inherited a map to the Americas from his wife though her family connections, again proving that behind every great man is a woman denied the proper credit. Women, not permitted to be Freemasons, mostly because they could never master the secret handshake, have been forced to give their Freemason husbands credit for nearly every accomplishment, other than some actual wall construction.
A few famous political American Freemasons were George Washington, Paul Revere, Benjamin Franklin and John Hancock. Other notable Freemasons were Billy Graham, Benedict Arnold, Louis Farrakhan, Brigham Young, John Wayne and Harpo Marx. Rumor is that when Grouch Marx was asked to join, he coined the phrase, "I won't belong to any organization that would have me as a member." According to Cramer, the Holy Grail must be buried somewhere in Sedona and is possibly the actual source of Vortex energy. Further evidence of this Templar conspiracy hypothesis is the recent changing of the "Y" intersection of SR 89A and SR 179 to a hooked "X." While the crossway may appear to the naked eye as a roundabout or rotary, an aerial view clearly shows it to be a hooked "X," one of the myriad secret symbols of the Knights Templar dating back to the Remington Rune Stone.
If Cramer's Remington Rune Stone decipher holds true, it shatters many historical and religious paradigms, and ultimately reveals the startling untold history of North America and Sedona. The stone, along with other runes, may further reveal that Remington was sent to Sedona to establish a new Templar stronghold and bury the Grail.
Sir William Randolph, World Famous Publisher of the Sedona Excentric recently let on that he has knowledge of a mysterious secret hidden under Bell Rock. A failed attempt to lift the rock and peak underneath occurred during the Harmonic Convergence in August of 1987. Popular speculation is that Remington himself may be buried there, though if proven to be true, Arizona skeptics will likely want to see a death certificate. Sir William also conveyed he felt Sedona's scenic beauty may be the actual hidden treasure, the Holy Grail and the Money Pit all rolled into one.
